Role Overview: 

Intramotev is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Intern to join the operations team for Summer 2026 to support growing demands in the development of self-propelled rail vehicles. This paid internship role will offer hands-on experience in assisting with material handling, inventory management, and outgoing logistics, contributing to the efficient production of our innovative autonomous rail vehicles. This is a full-time, in-office paid internship for Summer 2026, based out of St. Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Assist with handling all incoming deliveries and physical receiving processes to ensure manufacturing flow.

  • ERP Data Entry: Help log material receipts and inventory moves into the Odoo ERP system to maintain data accuracy.

  • Internal Distribution: Coordinate the delivery of parts to correct shelving racks and production stations for the engineering team.

  • Outgoing Logistics Support: Assist in preparing outgoing shipments, including returning parts to vendors or coordinating items for external painting.

  • Inventory Control: Participate in inventory cycle counts and help optimize material storage layouts within the facility.

  • Equipment Coordination: Support the operations team in scheduling and coordinating rentals for equipment such as cranes and forklifts.

About You: 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • This internship is open to students after completing their sophomore or junior years of school, as well as graduate students.

  • Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches.

  • Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment.

  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.

  • U.S. Person (immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Candidate should have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:

  • Coursework or projects related to logistics, inventory control, or warehouse management.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems or database management (experience with Odoo is a plus).

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or with complex electromechanical products.

  • Demonstrated experience working on project teams and collaborating across disciplines.

Typical Education and Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 1 or more years' related work (internship/cooperative work) or university course projects experience.

Relocation: 

This position does not offer relocation.

Schedule: 

This is an internship for summer 2026. It is an hourly role, up to 40 hours/week, in-office position, based in St. Louis, MO.
