Invoca is the revenue execution and platform leader that helps marketing, commerce, and contact center teams turn every conversation into revenue. Through its AI agents, Invoca engages, qualifies, and converts customers across SMS and voice, orchestrating seamless buyer journeys and measurable, profitable growth. With over 300 employees, 2,000+ customers, and $100M in revenue, the company continues to lead the category it created. Invoca's AI vision centers on using trustworthy, first-party data to deliver intelligent, authentic, and empathetic AI — connecting digital and human experiences to build lasting customer relationships. Invoca has raised $184M from leading investors, including Upfront Ventures, Accel, Silver Lake Waterman, H.I.G. Growth Partners, and Salesforce Ventures.
Invoca is an AI-powered revenue execution platform that brings together marketing, commerce, and contact center teams to turn every customer interaction into measurable, profitable growth.
By revealing intent across voice, SMS, and digital channels, Invoca helps enterprises drive better customer experiences, increase revenue, and operate with confidence at scale.
Agents are becoming the primary consumer of Invoca's data. What an agent knows about a business, a customer, and a consumer determines whether it performs or fails. As a Director of Product, Data, you will own the data layer that makes Invoca's AI Agents smarter, from the platform that ingests and standardizes data, to the consumer profile and knowledge services that give agents context, to the insights that drive action inside the product.
This is a player-coach role. You will personally own the Data Platform product vision and roadmap, and lead two Product Managers who own Consumer Profile and Knowledge & Context Services, and Data Visualization and Insights.
The Data and Intelligence Product team builds the data foundation that every Invoca product, AI Agent, and customer workflow runs on. The team works across engineering, AI, and the other product teams that own the customer experience, and is accountable for the following domains:
Data Platform: ingestion, pipelines, data standardization, and the infrastructure that makes trustworthy data available to every downstream product and agent
Data Intelligence: own the data intelligence products that other teams and customers use to build unique experiences on top of Invoca data to power AI Agent context, insights on operational workflows, co-pilot experiences.
Consumer Profile and Knowledge & Context Services: the unified consumer and brand profile, plus how knowledge, marketing data fields, consumer context, and conversation state are extracted, stored, evaluated, and delivered to human and AI agents
Data Visualization and Insights: analytics and insights built to drive outcomes and actions, not just reports, including in-platform agentic workflows triggered by data results and correlations
The Data and Intelligence Product Team measures success by agent quality, speed to value for product teams building on Invoca data, customer trust in how their data is used, customer actions driven by insights and ultimately driving new revenue opportunities for our customers
You will own the product vision and roadmap for the Data & Intelligence Product Team and act as its hands-on PM, while managing two PMs who own the other domains. You will set one strategy across all three teams so they operate as a single system: data comes in standardized, becomes consumer and business context for agents, and returns to customers as insight that drives action.
You will partner closely with engineering, AI engineering, data science, and security, and with the product teams and GTM leaders who depend on this data. You report to the EVP of Product.
Own the Data Platform directly: set the roadmap for ingestion, standardization, pipelines, data quality, and governance, and make the hard tradeoff calls yourself
Lead and coach two PMs: set direction, unblock decisions, and develop their judgment in Consumer Profile and Knowledge & Context Services, and in Data Visualization and Insights
Set one data strategy across all three domains: a coherent path from raw data to agent context to customer action, rather than three separate roadmaps
Define context engineering foundations: how knowledge, marketing data fields, consumer context, and conversation state are assembled into what an agent actually sees, and who owns each piece
Shape the unified consumer profile: define what Invoca knows about a consumer, how it is stored, and how it is used safely across channels
Own existing AI recommendations for AI Agents: build new intelligence products that have direct impact on how AI Agents, humans or brands act on consumer journeys
Move analytics from reporting to action: guide the move from dashboards to insights and in-platform agentic workflows that act on data results
Architect data contracts: schemas, APIs, and standards that make data portable, governable, and reusable across products and agents
Make data measurable for AI: partner with AI engineering on evaluation of knowledge extraction, retrieval, and context quality
Enforce governance: privacy, consent, multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data scoping rules for agents
Drive adoption: paved roads and shared components so product teams ship data-driven and agentic experiences faster
Represent Data to executive leadership: translate platform investment into business outcomes
10+ years in product management, including direct experience managing PMs, and a track record of staying hands-on with the hardest problems in your own domain
Hands-on experience owning a data platform product: ingestion, pipelines, data modeling, data quality, and governance at scale
Fluency with the modern AI and agent data stack: retrieval, vector stores, memory, knowledge extraction, evaluation methods, and context engineering, with a clear point of view on using data as a competitive advantage for agents
Experience with customer or consumer data products such as a CDP, identity resolution, or a unified profile
Experience building analytics or insights products focused on driving customer outcomes, ideally with AI-driven or agentic workflows
Demonstrated experience defining data contracts: schemas, APIs, versioning, and lifecycle management
Experience in enterprise, multi-tenant environments where privacy, consent, security, and compliance are core constraints
Background in engineering, computer science, or equivalent hands-on experience building complex data systems
Track record of taking ownership of an ambiguous, fragmented, or underperforming area and establishing clear direction
Exceptional communication skills: able to align engineering, AI, product, and GTM stakeholders and present strategy to executives
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field
