Who you are and what you’ll do  

We’re looking for a technically curious and customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer to support Mappedin’s sales team in complex and high-impact pre-sales engagements.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with sales team members to understand prospective customers requirements, design technical solutions, and clearly articulate how Mappedin’s platform solves real-world problems. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process—from discovery through solution design. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business outcomes.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role

  • A track record of building trusted relationships with technical and non-technical buyers

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way

  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS sales cycles, ideally with enterprise customers

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity in live conversations

  • Enough technical depth to speak credibly about APIs, integrations, and platform architecture (you don't need to write production code, but you need to understand how systems connect)

  • Collaborative, curious, and customer-focused mindset

  • Experience with mapping, geospatial data, IoT, prop tech or developer platforms is a plus

  • This role requires up to 30% travel.
