About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager – Engineering to bring structure, consistency, and visibility to how Massive Bio’s growing engineering organization plans, tracks, and delivers work.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will own day-to-day delivery coordination across multiple engineering tracks, ensuring priorities, progress, dependencies, blockers, and risks remain visible and actionable. You will work closely with engineers and technical leads to maintain consistent delivery practices and provide engineering leadership with a clear, up-to-date view of execution across teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on bringing order to complex, fast-moving environments and enjoys working closely with technical teams—not simply managing project boards from a distance.

As part of a global organization, you will collaborate regularly with international teams, leadership, and stakeholders. English is actively used in day-to-day communication, meetings, reporting, and presentations.

The role will also support client-facing product and platform demonstrations when needed, requiring the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently to external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Own engineering delivery: Coordinate day-to-day execution across multiple engineering workstreams, maintaining clear visibility into priorities, progress, blockers, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

• Own Jira processes: Manage and continuously improve Jira workflows, ticket structures, sprint boards, backlog organization, dashboards, reporting, and automation across engineering teams.

• Run delivery ceremonies: Facilitate daily standups and support sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies, ensuring actions and blockers are followed through to resolution.

• Track progress and risk: Monitor sprint, project, and task progress; identify risks, dependencies, and potential delays early; and proactively escalate issues to relevant engineering leads.

• Coordinate across technical teams: Partner with engineering leads to maintain consistent planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery practices across Software Development, Infrastructure & Integration, AI/ML, Data, QA, DevOps, and Security initiatives.

• Measure and report: Build and maintain delivery dashboards, metrics, and regular performance and status reporting, providing engineering leadership with an accurate view of execution and delivery health.

• Manage cross-team dependencies: Coordinate handoffs, timelines, and dependencies across engineering tracks and external development partners where applicable.

• Communicate up and across: Translate technical progress, risks, blockers, and trade-offs into clear, business-relevant updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across our global organization.

• Support client demonstrations: Participate in product and platform demonstrations when needed, communicating technical capabilities clearly and professionally to clients and external stakeholders.

• Support team onboarding: Help onboard new engineers into team processes, workflows, delivery practices, and project management tools.

Who You Are

Required

• 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, or similar role, ideally within a software engineering or technology organization.

• Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including workflows, boards, dashboards, reporting, and automation. This is a must-have requirement.

• Strong command of Agile/Scrum practices, with hands-on experience facilitating standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and delivery cadences.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple software engineering teams or technical workstreams simultaneously, with the ability to manage competing priorities and dependencies.

• Experience working directly with engineers and technical leads, with enough technical understanding to follow engineering discussions and translate them into clear delivery, status, and risk reporting.

• Strong ability to identify dependencies, surface risks and blockers early, drive follow-up, and maintain delivery momentum in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with confidence working with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

• Professional proficiency in both English and Turkish is required. This is a global role where English is actively used in day-to-day meetings, written communication, reporting, presentations, and collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.

• Experience working across time zones and cultures in a distributed team environment.

• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Istanbul - Kozyatağı.

• Experience in healthcare, biotech, health-tech, or another regulated industry.

• Experience coordinating external software development vendors or technology partners.

• Experience supporting AI/ML, data-intensive, infrastructure, DevOps, or security teams.

• Experience delivering product or technical demonstrations to clients or business stakeholders.

• PMP, PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar project/agile management certification.
