We are looking for a Legal Counsel (2–4 years PQE) to support all key legal areas including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate matters.
This is a high ownership role where you will work closely with business teams and leadership. You will play an important role in enabling business growth while managing legal risks in a fast-paced startup environment.
Support business teams with clear and practical legal advice
Ensure strong and scalable contracting processes
Help the company stay compliant with evolving regulations
Build legal frameworks that support growth and innovation
Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements such as MSAs, customer contracts, and cloud/service agreements
Handle vendor and partner contracts
Work on data protection, security, and AI-related contractual terms
Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks
Provide day-to-day legal support to sales, product, and operations teams
Support legal aspects of new product or feature launches
Assist with compliance related to data protection, privacy laws, IT laws, and emerging AI regulations
Support creation and implementation of internal policies (privacy, information security, etc.)
Support corporate governance activities
Assist in fundraising, investor documentation, and due diligence processes
Handle basic corporate legal matters as part of BAU
Law degree (LLB or equivalent)
2–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
Experience in a law firm and/or in-house role
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Good understanding of commercial and technology-related agreements
Basic knowledge of data privacy and regulatory frameworks
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Experience in technology, SaaS, cloud, or data-driven companies
Exposure to both law firm and in-house environments
Familiarity with startup work culture and fast-paced environments
Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for business teams
Proactive approach to identifying risks and solutions
Strong business understanding along with legal expertise
High ownership and accountability
