Paper.id is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Designer to join our design team. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered design solutions that support customer needs and business goals across web applications and mobile applications. You will work closely with product managers, developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to understand problems, analyze user behavior, translate insights into design solutions, and continuously improve our products.
This role requires strong design thinking, solid UI/UX fundamentals, collaboration skills, and the ability to create scalable design solutions within an evolving design system. Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Art/Visual Communication & Design, Creative Multimedia, Advertising Media, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience designing user experiences for web applications and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of design thinking, human-centered design principles, and user experience best practices.
Ability to translate user needs, business goals, and product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Proficient in Figma for creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity product designs.
Familiar with illustration or vector design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, or similar tools.
Ability to create or adapt icons, illustrations, and supporting visual assets when needed.
Familiarity with design systems, reusable components, and consistency standards.
Ability to collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret product data, user behavior, funnels, or usability findings to support design decisions.
Experience or interest in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements.
Experience using AI tools to support design exploration, research synthesis, ideation, workflow efficiency, or design documentation is a plus.
Knowledge of user interface behavior, frontend constraints, or basic implementation logic is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Design user-centered experiences for web applications and mobile applications.
Apply design thinking to understand user problems, business goals, and product constraints before creating solutions.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for new and existing product features.
Work closely with product managers to clarify requirements, define user problems, and prioritize design needs.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented with good quality.
Use product data, user behavior, research findings, and usability insights to inform design decisions.
Conduct or support user research and usability testing to validate design solutions.
Create or adapt icons, illustrations, and supporting visual assets when required for product needs.
Contribute ideas and design improvements that enhance product quality, usability, and customer experience.
Develop, maintain, and follow design systems, components, and design standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Participate in design critiques, feedback sessions, and cross-functional discussions to improve design outcomes.
