Senior Vice President of Operations

As the SVP of Operations, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the operational strategy across our entire logistics network. You will oversee Operations Strategy, Branch Operations, Midmile, Product Operations, and Facilities Infrastructure, while being directly accountable for operational budgeting, delivery excellence and elevating our Hero’s (courier) lives.
This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional execution capabilities and cross-functional leadership skills to drive performance, scalability, and efficiency across all levels of the logistics operation.
1. Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement the long-term operations strategy aligned with corporate goals.
Lead capacity planning, network design, and process optimization to support scalable growth.
Collaborate with executive leadership on business continuity planning and infrastructure investment.
2. Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee the end-to-end operations across:
Branch Operations: Regional hubs and last-mile distribution.
Mid-mile Operations: Intercity transport and logistics.
Product Operations: Workflow design, tech integration, process standardization.
Facilities & Infrastructure: Physical asset planning, maintenance, and expansion.
Hero Excellence: leading our Heroes, Paxel couriers, in driving the service excellence and ensuring Heroes satisfaction and welfare
Service Excellence: driving overall service excellence across operations and delivery
Ensure all operations meet or exceed SLA commitments across delivery timelines, accuracy, and service quality.
3. Execution Excellence
Implement operational best practices for cost, quality and couriers’ welfare.
Drive digital transformation across operations using automation, AI/ML, and real-time analytics tools.
Maintain strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
4. Budget & Financial Management
Own and manage operational OPEX and CAPEX budgets across all departments.
Analyze and improve cost-to-serve metrics and drive initiatives to increase profitability.
Monitor financial performance and develop corrective strategies to address variances.
5. Team Leadership & Culture
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance operations team across multiple regions.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Champion cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, with at least 7 years in executive leadership roles.
Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics operations in high-growth or tech-driven environments.
