A Technician, Field Service at Pebble will collaborate closely with vehicle systems engineers to repair/maintain flawless systems and subsystems that deliver an exceptional all-electric camping experience. The scope includes powertrains, HVAC, suspension and braking systems, closures, glazing, interior and exterior cosmetic panels, plumbing, electrical systems, and everything else in the engineering development process. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Repairing delivered vehicles as new faults occur, while providing excellent customer experience in our direct to consumer model. 

  • Maintain and prepare test assets (prototypes, bucks, mules, and customer vehicles) for testing, evaluation, and demonstrations.

  • Set up and conduct engineering experiments and tests, including functional tests, and field tests.

  • Provide support for on-site and off-site testing.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and failure analysis of components and subsystems.

  • Adhere strictly to company safety and conduct policies.

Qualifications: 

  • AS in Automotive Technology or equivalent trade school plus 3-5 years automotive repair experience. EV and/or RV experience preferred. 

  • Highly skilled in electronics and experienced with a wide range of vehicles and systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and present technical information to various audiences.

  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Can-do spirit and get-it-done attitude.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
