Role: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA.
About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing modeling, line design, tact-time, forecasting, process, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. They will work closely with the manufacturing team, engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure execution, identify areas for improvement and implement process efficiency.enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and production management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures
Production line layout, staffing, and processes
Forecast budgets for time, labor, opex, and tooling.
Optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality
Ensure end of line product quality associated with the manufacturing process.
Identify and resolve manufacturing issues
Train and mentor manufacturing team members and technicians
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Manage and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering
Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Continuous)
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
Continuous improvement mindset
