Position: AI Software Engineer Intern
Location: Fremont, CA
Department: Software Engineering
Role Overview:
Join our SW team to build intelligent systems that power our electric vehicle platform. You'll develop AI agents for data analysis, automation, and user interaction while working with cutting-edge technology in the sustainable transportation space.
Core Responsibilities:
Time Series Data Intelligence:
Build AI agents that analyze large-scale vehicle telemetry and sensor data.
Create automated pattern recognition systems for fleet monitoring and optimization.
Design scalable data processing pipelines for production vehicle data.
Data Infrastructure & Automation:
Develop intelligent data migration and ETL systems with built-in validation.
Build automated database ingestion agents that parse and structure complex datasets.
Create AI-powered data visualization tools that generate insights automatically.
Support enterprise data transformation projects with intelligent automation.
Generative AI Applications:
Develop AI agents for internal tools (documentation, quality tracking, process automation).
Production Deployment:
Integrate AI solutions with existing software infrastructure.
Deploy and maintain AI agents in production environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams on AI-enabled vehicle features.
Monitor and optimize AI system performance at scale.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Solid school courses about AI and other related engineering fields
Technical Skills:
AI/ML: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
Programming: Strong Python skills .
Data: Time series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB), data warehouses, streaming platforms.
Agent Development: Autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, agentic workflows.
Infrastructure: RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
Cloud: AWS, GCP.
AI Specialization:
Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector databases.
Agent orchestration and workflow automation.
Model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
Preferred Experience:
Student in undergraduate or graduate programs
Ivy League universities are a huge plus but not required
