Pebble is a sustainable living startup defining a new way to live, work and explore from anywhere with a 100% electric, hassle-free RV trailer. Built by a team of experts in both automotive and consumer technology, Pebble combines electrification with cutting-edge automotive technology for a travel trailer experience that removes the hassles RV trailer owners have struggled with for decades.
At Pebble, we are building out the future of lighter, more flexible living. We see a world where your home can be anywhere you want to take it. Pebble blends the best of what it means to be at home, on the road, and off-grid into something useful and magical. This is a collective effort. Our team is dedicated to making not just products, but a lifestyle that is truly sustainable. If the idea of building out the future sparks your imagination and intersects with your skills, we'd love to meet you.
The Role:
We're hiring an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team and own the day-to-day accounting operations that keep Pebble running. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong foundation in AP and general accounting who also has the analytical chops to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions as we scale. You'll help build scalable processes from the ground up — and won't shy away from the manual, roll-up-your-sleeves work that comes with being an early-stage startup.
You'll work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure financial transactions are accurate, vendors are paid on time, and the books are clean. If you're detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited about growing beyond core AP into broader finance functions, this role is for you.
What you'll do:
Accounts Payable & Accounting
Own the full-cycle accounts payable process — including invoice receipt, review, coding, approval routing, and vendor payment — ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every step
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and maintaining strong, productive supplier relationships
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including AP accruals, account reconciliations, and journal entries
Monitor and reconcile cash disbursements, track outstanding payables, and assist with short-term cash flow forecasting
Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to manage 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and resolve exceptions
Maintain and improve AP workflows, internal controls, and documentation to support audit readiness
Assist with cost coding, expense reporting, and GL coding accuracy across departments
Willingly take on manual, administrative, and operational tasks as the business demands — no task is too small when it keeps things moving
FP&A & Reporting Support
Support monthly close by tracking actuals vs. plan and helping communicate key variances to stakeholders
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, with a focus on expense-side accuracy and vendor spend
Assist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards that give leadership visibility into spend, payables, and cash position
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate AP and accounting processes using ERP tools and emerging workflows
Required Qualifications:
1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or a related role
Strong understanding of AP processes, accrual accounting, and month-end close
Working knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and comfort with basic variance analysis and reporting
Proficient in Excel — comfortable with reconciliations, pivot tables, and data organization
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail — you catch discrepancies others miss
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking on manual work in a fast-paced startup environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Nice to have:
Experience with ERP systems, especially NetSuite
Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, or startup environments
Familiarity with BI or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
Interest in accounting automation and AI-powered finance workflows
Benefits
Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Unlimited Paid Vacation Policy
$88,000 – $112,000 USD
