We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic startup disrupting mobility and living space. The ideal candidate is early in their career but brings hands-on curiosity, a strong engineering foundation, and a drive to learn and grow in a fast-paced product environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on real design challenges, contributing to products that are both technically rigorous and genuinely meaningful.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of innovative designs for vehicle exteriors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to optimize design functionality and manufacturability.

  • Assist in conducting simulations and testing to evaluate new designs and improve existing ones.

  • Prepare engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to understand design feasibility and quality requirements.

  • Document design work and contribute to technical reports and design reviews.

  • Actively participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve your work.

  • Stay current with trends and technologies in automotive and exterior design.

  • Support efforts to ensure designs are sustainable, cost-effective, and aligned with project budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; 0–2 years of experience (internships and co-ops count).

  • Exposure to automotive mechanical design principles with familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

  • Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

  • Some exposure to FEA or simulation tools is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong problem-solving instincts and attention to detail.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clear communicator — comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas.

  • Genuine passion for sustainability, innovation, and building things that matter.
