HR Operations Partner

Pebble is building the future of electric smart RV trailers — and we're looking for an HR Business Partner who can keep up. This isn't a policy-enforcement role or a slow-burn strategic position. You'll own the operational heartbeat of our people function while helping us scale smart. You'll work across a wide range of teams and personalities — from software engineers to manufacturing technicians — and you'll need to be as comfortable talking shop on a factory floor as in a leadership meeting. What You'll Own

Culture & Employee Experience Own company culture initiatives including events, recognition, and internal communications that reinforce what makes Pebble special. Triage and respond to culture feedback; don't just collect it. Turn complaints into improvements.

Onboarding & Offboarding Design and run a seamless onboarding experience that gets people contributing fast and feeling connected to Pebble's culture from day one. Own offboarding end-to-end — including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and compliance — and use those insights to improve retention.

Employee Relations Be the trusted, go-to resource for employees and managers navigating workplace issues. Handle complaints and sensitive situations with discretion and good judgment. Know when to escalate and when to resolve. Build the kind of relationships where people actually come to you before things become problems.

Performance & Reviews Build and manage a quarterly employee review cadence that's lightweight, actionable, and actually useful to managers — not another HR checkbox. Coach managers on feedback and performance conversations, and use review data to surface trends and inform decisions.

Headcount Planning & Hiring Strategy Partner with leadership on headcount planning and ensure we're tracking to approved hiring plans. Identify where hiring strategies need to be refined and drive continuous improvement — faster pipelines, better calibration, smarter use of our tools. Coordinate closely with recruiting to keep execution tight.

HR Compliance & Operations Manage day-to-day HR compliance, including our TriNet relationship, employment law requirements, and policy adherence. Keep things clean, documented, and audit-ready without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Flag issues before they become liabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–9 years of HR experience, with a meaningful mix of operational execution and business partnership

  • Proven ability to own processes end-to-end and scale them — you don't wait for a playbook, you write it

  • Strong interpersonal range — you can build rapport with a line technician and a VP in the same afternoon

  • Analytically sharp — you use data to make decisions, identify trends, and tell stories to leadership

  • Fluent in AI tools and actively incorporates them into daily work to move faster and think better

  • Experience with a PEO (TriNet or similar) strongly preferred

  • Comfortable with HR compliance across California employment law

  • Startup or high-growth environment experience required; manufacturing or technical team experience a plus

  • You move with urgency, communicate directly, and don't need hand-holding
