About the Role

The Data Analyst acts as the organization's metrics guardian, powering data-driven decisions across all functions. You'll deliver timely insights via automated reporting, anomaly detection, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration to uphold SLAs, optimize user experience, and accelerate business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Reporting: Publish core KPIs (churn rate, loss ratio, CSAT, NPS, FCR, retention cohorts) across Customer Success, Product, Operations, and Growth teams on daily/weekly cadences, ensuring alignment with business leaders.

  • Review Ownership: Build and present OKR dashboards for company-wide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews using Metabase/Tableau, facilitating cross-team discussions.

  • Proactive Cross-Functional Monitoring: Analyze trends to spot deviations (churn spikes, loss ratio thresholds); liaise immediately with respective stakeholders across functions, trigger alarms, diagnose root causes, and co-create structural solutions to prevent recurrence.

  • Strategic Influence: Translate complex data into actionable recommendations via cross-functional workshops, influencing strategy through clear visualizations, mathematical models, and collaborative storytelling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Cross-Functional Excellence: Proven ability to partner with diverse teams (technical + business), translate requirements into metrics, and drive alignment through data. Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and influencing without authority.

  • Math Mastery: Exceptional numerical aptitude for repetitive calculations, statistical modeling (cohort analysis, logistic regression), and transparent data representations.

  • Technical Proficiency: SQL (CRM data: Zendesk, Salesforce), BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI), Google Sheets/Excel; bonus Python/ETL and someone with automation experience/expertise.

  • Domain Expertise: Insurance/fintech metrics mastery (loss ratio, churn segmentation, customer success KPIs).

  • Experience: 1-3 years analytics in SaaS/internet companies; thrives in ambiguity, communicates insights across technical levels.

Preferred Background

B.Tech graduates with demonstrated cross-functional impact in customer-obsessed environments. Curiosity-driven collaborators who build data bridges between silos.
