Healthcare in India is seeing a phenomenal shift with inflation in healthcare costs 3x that of general inflation. A majority of Indians are unable to afford health insurance on their own; and so as many as 600mn Indians will likely have to depend on employer-sponsored insurance.

We are looking for a high-potential finance leader to partner closely with the CFO and leadership
team in driving strategic finance initiatives at Plum. This role is designed as a clear pathway to a
future CFO position, combining financial planning, business partnering, capital strategy, and
governance.
You will work at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution, helping shape Plum’s next
phase of growth post-Series B
1. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
Partner with business leaders (sales, marketing, product) to drive data-backed decision-making
Build and track unit economics, cohort analysis, and profitability metrics
Identify growth opportunities and cost optimisation levers
Support pricing strategy, GTM investments, and expansion decisions
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Own company-wide annual operating plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts
Drive variance analysis and actionable insights for leadership
Build scalable financial models for new initiatives and scenarios
3. Fundraising & Investor Management
Support CFO in fundraising, investor decks, and diligence processes
Own monthly investor reporting and board materials
Track key metrics and ensure alignment with investor expectations
4. Strategic Projects
Lead cross-functional initiatives such as:
New business lines / market expansion
M&A evaluation (if applicable)
Strategic partnerships
Act as a “mini-CFO” on high-impact projects
5. Governance & Financial Discipline
Strengthen financial processes, reporting rigor, and controls
Work with legal, compliance, and auditors on key matters
Ensure readiness for scale (IPO / large-scale operations mindset)
Experience
5–10 years of experience in:
Investment banking / consulting / PE / VC / high-growth startup finance
Strong exposure to financial modeling, business finance, and strategy
Experience working closely with founders / CXOs is a strong plus
Skills
Strong analytical thinking with business intuition
Ability to simplify complex problems into actionable insights
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
High ownership and bias for action
