ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Manager, HRBP who is a genuine thought partner, someone who deeply understands people, business, and the nuance between the two. You'll embed with business teams (with a preference for Sales, Marketing, or Customer-facing functions), navigate the complex human dynamics of a fast-scaling startup, and help leaders build resilient, high-performing cultures.
This is not a transactional HR role. We want someone who thinks in systems, listens before advising, and brings both emotional intelligence and business acuity to every conversation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Strategic Partnership. Act as a strategic thought partner to business leaders, helping them navigate org design, team dynamics, and talent decisions.
Conflict Resolution. Handle sensitive and complex employee situations with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment, from performance conversations to team conflict.
Stakeholder Relationships. Build deep relationships across your business unit; understand their goals, pressures, and the human context behind decisions.
Manager Enablement. Coach managers on leadership, feedback, and people practices, enabling them to grow as leaders rather than creating dependency on HR.
People Programs. Drive critical people programs like engagement, retention, and talent reviews with a bias for impact over process.
Culture & EQ. Spot cultural signals early and bring them to the surface; be the connective tissue between people and leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration. Partner with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Comp & Benefits teams to deliver a seamless people experience.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience. 5-7 years of HRBP or People Partner experience, ideally in a B2B who has seen the 1-10 Journey.
Conflict Competence. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, have difficult conversations, and hold space for complexity without losing composure.
Emotional Intelligence. High EQ, you read rooms well, build trust quickly, and know when to push and when to listen.
Business Acumen. You understand revenue, growth targets, and what it means to operate in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Functional Context. Exposure to Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success orgs is a strong plus.
Academic Background. Background or training in Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or Human Development is preferred.
Builder Mindset. You're energized by ambiguity and motivated to create, not just run, people processes.
