About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and growth-driven individual to join our Business Insurance Team as a Senior Consultant / Associate Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience who is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, whilst building the future of business insurance for corporates in India.
We are committed to investing in the development of the right candidate, providing mentorship and guidance from industry experts.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to define how companies secure their business risks across diverse solutions on commercial insurance. You will be working directly with the Director - Business Insurance and be mentored by experienced professionals, accelerating your learning and career trajectory. This role offers a unique chance to make a real impact in the insurance industry while building a strong foundation for your future.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Grow & Expand the Plum brand & revenue

  • Connect with potential customers, understand their needs, and offer the best solutions.

  • Drive revenue growth through lead generation, prospecting, and follow-ups.

  • Build and nurture relationships with c-suite clients—because great sales come from trust.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless sales process.

  • Hit (or exceed!) sales targets and celebrate those wins.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.

  • Mentor & support other team members


What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales / insurance broking or a related field (hitting sales targets is a must!)

  • Liability Insurance / P&C experience is preferred.

  • Great communication skills - don’t worry if you’re not perfect; what matters is your intent & willingness to learn.

  • Motivated, ambitious, and driven - we love self-starters who push boundaries.

  • Adaptable and industry-agnostic - you can navigate different sectors with ease.

  • You are a team player & Go getter
