About the role

As a Senior SEO / GEO Manager at Propellic, you’ll serve as the key point of contact for high-value SEO clients, owning project planning, delivery, and results. You’ll design strategies that balance SEO fundamentals with GEO and AI-driven visibility, helping our clients stay competitive in a rapidly evolving search landscape.

You’ll act as both a client-facing consultant and an internal knowledge expert—someone who can simplify complex ideas, foster strong relationships, and elevate the skills of SEO Managers and new hires.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Craft dual-path strategic roadmaps that align SEO fundamentals with GEO deliverables and AI visibility KPIs.

  • Design creative solutions that meet client business objectives within scope and budget.

  • Research, test, and integrate emerging AI search features (AI Overviews, Generative Search, Google AI Mode, Bing Copilot).

  • Deliver quarterly strategy decks tied directly to client business goals and North Star metrics.

Delivery & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end SEO deliverables across technical, content, and link-building initiatives.

  • Execute GEO-specific deliverables: AI readiness audits, entity presence analysis, Preferred Source monitoring, and content passage refreshes.

  • Ensure 95%+ on-time delivery and client acceptance of all deliverables.

  • Produce at least one client case study every six months, highlighting measurable SEO and AI-driven results.

Consulting & Client Relationships

  • Act as the primary point of contact and project manager for assigned accounts.

  • Listen to client goals, align them with deliverables, and proactively pitch new opportunities.

  • Simplify SEO and GEO concepts for client stakeholders, ensuring they understand the value.

  • Support sales with audits, recommendations, and scope expansions.

  • Incorporate GEO/AI insights into every quarterly business review (QBR).

Communication & Project Management

  • Lead client meetings with agendas, recaps, and proactive updates.

  • Coordinate timelines with Link Building, Paid Media, and other departments.

  • Respond to all client messages within 24 business hours.

  • Share relevant SEO, AI, and travel industry updates regularly.

Team Development & Education

  • Train and mentor SEO Managers and New Hires on SEO, GEO, and AI best practices.

  • Lead internal workshops on AI tools, embedding workflows, and evolving SEO deliverables.

  • Contribute to the SEO team’s knowledge base and run at least two GEO/AI training sessions annually.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with strong technical and strategic expertise.

  • 3+ years of agency experience managing multiple simultaneous accounts.

  • Experience with clients in the Travel industry

  • Proven success managing enterprise-level or high-budget accounts.

  • Experience leading client communication and strategy discussions.

  • Deep understanding of organic search fundamentals: technical SEO, content strategy, and link building, as they relate to Organic and AI performance.

  • Curiosity and comfort with emerging AI search trends — eager to test, learn, and teach.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to educate and influence clients and team members.
