Role Summary

The Head of Floral Design, Products & Events is a hands-on creative leadership role at French Florist, blending floral artistry, product innovation, and training program development. This individual ensures French Florist continues to deliver an “11 out of 10” client and franchise experience by managing floral arrangements for small-scale events, supporting brand and marketing activations, and leading the ongoing evolution of our Designer Training programs.

They will serve as the key creative and strategic partner responsible for enhancing and expanding French Florist’s Designer Training programs, ensuring our design standards, methods, and brand identity are consistently represented across both corporate and franchise locations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Innovation & Brand Expertise

  • Research trends and design techniques that enhance French Florist offerings.

  • Partner with internal teams to develop and roll out new product lines.

  • Support Marketing and Operations with creative consultation for product launches and seasonal initiatives.

  • Ensure brand integrity by serving as the go-to creative resource for design and floral expertise.

Designer Training Development

  • Enhance and expand the Designer Training programs, including the Lead Designer Training, ensuring they reflect current brand standards and best practices.

  • Develop engaging content, tools, and materials for both in-person and online learning experiences.

  • Collaborate with trainers and department leads to ensure smooth facilitation and delivery of all programs

  • Create additional training paths and progression opportunities to support continuous learning and skill development for designers across the system.

  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve the programs.

Client Events

  • Manage the floral design, sourcing, and execution of small-scale client events (e.g., celebrations, corporate gatherings).

  • Scope and design floral arrangements specific to each event, ensuring they reflect French Florist’s brand and quality standards.

  • Coordinate resources and logistics required for floral production and on-site setup.

  • Provide excellent client service and ensure a seamless event-day floral experience.

Subject Matter Expert

  • Partner with Marketing to conceptualize and deliver floral arrangements for brand activations, campaign shoots, influencer events, and PR opportunities.

  • Provide creative direction and vision for floral styling that supports storytelling and brand strategy.

  • Manage flower sourcing and purchasing to align with marketing timelines and event needs.

  • Act as a floral subject matter expert (SME) to ensure marketing efforts are elevated by our signature design aesthetic.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of floral design experience, with a strong background in event floral management and daily floral operation.

  • Experience supporting marketing/brand activations and photoshoots with creative floral direction.

  • Strong background in product innovation and/or new product development in a creative industry.

  • Experience developing and enhancing creative training programs (both in-person and online)

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • Collaborative and client-focused mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Willingness to travel for trainings and events.


Compensation:

  • $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
