Job Purpose:

This is a rare and fantastic opportunity to join an established and reputable organization. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining HR strategies and initiatives that align with overall business goals. This role oversees all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, wage and hour compliance. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding tasks, ensuring compliance and an excellent experience.

  • Oversee safety program in clerical, manufacturing and distribution environments.

  • Manage Benefits Administration and Compensation structure.

  • Cultivate and foster productive Employee Relations by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting employee engagement.

  • Ensure non-exempt employee wage and hour compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and ordinances.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR software systems, and handle administrative tasks as needed.

  • Support payroll functions as needed.

  • Responsible for some office managerial duties, such as tracking work anniversaries, organizing company events, etc. 

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

 Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • HRIS Paylocity experience preferred.

  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience.

  • HR Experience in manufacturing and distribution environments.

  • Experience with supporting all aspects of payroll processing.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • $73,000 - $78,000/year 

  • Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance 

  • Paid holidays and paid time off 

Expected start date is April 2026.

Physical Requirements:

This position primarily involves sitting for extended periods, standing and walking as needed, and regular use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment. Occasional lifting of light office materials (up to approximately 15 pounds) may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
