Ground-Up / Apartment Construction Superintendent
Equis Construction (General Contractor) is seeking an experienced and driven Ground-Up or Apartment Construction Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for ground-up and multifamily apartment projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can manage subcontractors, coordinate inspections, maintain schedules, and serve as the primary on-site point of contact from project start through close-out.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Oversee all daily on-site construction activities for ground-up and apartment projects
-Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure proper sequencing of work
-Maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager and proactively address delays
-Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety requirements
-Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA regulations, including conducting safety meetings and inspections
-Coordinate and attend city, county, and third-party inspections
-Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation
-Monitor quality control across all trades and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly
-Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and security
-Lead punch walks and oversee punch list completion
Experience & Qualifications
-7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up or apartment projects.
-Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
-Thorough knowledge of building codes, inspections, and safety regulations.
-Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades simultaneously.
-OSHA 30 certification preferred.
-Experience with Procore software is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
-$115,000 – $130,000/year
