Underground Laborer

Responsibilities
This position involves working outside with your hands on a pipe line crew for installation of sewer, storm drain, grease interceptors, assisting with assembling, connecting pipe systems by ensuring ground is prepared and trenches ready for pipes and eventually will learn how to direct a couple or more crew members under his / her responsibility.
Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, digging, and standing for extended periods
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork in an underground environment
Prior experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations is a plus
Willingness to work in confined spaces and at varying depths underground
Reliable transportation to access job sites in different locations as needed
Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively with team members
