Profile Overview

We are hiring our first GTM Engineer at Rocketlane. This role sits within the Growth team that reports to the CMO, and is responsible for running experiments, driving operational efficiency, building repeatable playbooks, and enabling velocity across the marketing org.

You will proactively identify bottlenecks, automate manual workflows, and scale growth experiments. Your job will be to convert growth hypotheses into live workflows in days, use data and AI-powered tools to accelerate our GTM velocity, and enable the marketing team to execute smarter and faster.

Instead of simply adding more people, you will engineer scalable systems, systems that empower our team to run personalized, high-impact marketing plays at scale. You’ll combine technical expertise (automation, integrations, workflows) with commercial instincts (ROI-focused, experimentation-driven) to systematically remove friction and accelerate Rocketlane’s growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build systems, automations, and internal tools that improve efficiency across the marketing org using platforms like Clay, HubSpot, Zapier, Lovable and modern intent tools.

  • Build scrappy tools, scripts, and workflows that improve how we find and convert our ICPs.

  • Work on end-to-end growth projects that support pipeline goals by enabling faster execution, testing, and iteration across marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Help scale programs like ABM in the most efficient way possible by improving tooling, process, targeting, tracking, and internal coordination.

  • Partner with product marketing, demand generation, and marketing ops to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and unlock scale.

  • Proactively identify bottlenecks across the marketing team and build solutions to eliminate them. Your work will help reduce turnaround time and increase campaign velocity.

  • Create tooling and frameworks that allow non-technical teammates to experiment, launch, and analyze campaigns independently.

  • Enable peers in the growth team to become full-stack contributors by giving them systems to run experiments, test ideas, and move faster without external dependencies.

  • Maintain and improve the infrastructure that powers marketing execution. Ensure it remains reliable, easy to debug, and built to support scale as we grow.

You should apply:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in technical marketing, growth, or marketing ops roles with a track record of building internal tools or automation.

  • Comfort with tools like Clay, HubSpot, Zapier, and intent data platforms, with a willingness to explore new platforms and figure things out independently.

  • A strong bias for shipping quickly, testing what works, and iterating based on real outcomes.

  • Clear understanding of how go-to-market teams operate and where inefficiencies typically show up.

  • Comfortable writing scripts, setting up APIs, or connecting tools even without formal engineering training.

  • Curiosity to dig into how things work and why processes break, and the drive to quietly fix them.

  • A habit of documenting, simplifying, and cleaning up what you build so others can use and maintain it.

  • Clear, practical communication skills that help you collaborate across marketing, sales, and ops without overcomplicating things.

Why Join us?

At Rocketlane, we’re all about building a great product and a great place to work. Here’s why you’ll actually look forward to Mondays:

  • Impact and ownership: You won’t just be another cog in the machine; here, you’re more like a turbocharged engine part. Bring your ideas, make them happen.

  • Work with the best: We’re a team of passionate, quirky, and ridiculously talented people. Come for the work, stay for the memes.

  • Celebrate wins: Whether we’re hitting major milestones or celebrating new funding, we like to mix it up. From rap videos to team outings, we believe in celebrating big.

  • Learn and grow: We’re all about learning—and we’re not just talking about the latest SaaS trends. You’ll grow your career, pick up new skills, and maybe even learn to love Excel (or at least tolerate it).

  • Flexibility and balance: While we love collaborating in the office five days a week, we know everyone has their own rhythm. That’s why we offer flexibility around hours—so you can bring your best energy, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl. Pajamas optional (at least outside the office).
