Enablement Lead - Professional Services

Job type: Full Time · Department: Post Sales · Work type: On-Site

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

About Rocketlane

Rocketlane is a fast-growing, category-defining SaaS company transforming customer onboarding and professional services automation. Our mission is simple: help B2B companies deliver a seamless, consistent, and efficient onboarding experience — reducing chaos and driving better customer outcomes.

Today, we’re a team of 200+ passionate builders creating a product that teams genuinely love to use. Backed by leading investors like 8VC, Matrix Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners, we’ve raised over $105M to fuel our growth.

As Rocketlane scales into enterprise deals, new geographies, and an expanding partner ecosystem, the Professional Services (PS) team is at the forefront of this evolution. With growth, the cost of inconsistent onboarding and reactive enablement becomes more pronounced — and we’re no longer willing to accept that trade-off.

This role exists to change that.

If you’re excited about building a high-impact enablement function within a product-led PS organization that deeply values delivery quality, ownership, and customer experience — this is your opportunity.

The Problem You're Solving

Right now, a new Implementation Manager at Rocketlane learns on the job. There's no structured path, no certification, no single source of truth. Status decks exist in six versions. When a new product feature ships, the PS team finds out the same way customers do. Ongoing training? Mostly ad hoc.

You're the person who fixes all of that and then makes it impossible to go back to the old way.

What This Role Actually Is

You've run implementations. You've been in the room when things go sideways. You know what "good delivery" looks like because you've done it and you've probably thought "someone should write this down properly."

That someone is now you.

As Enablement Lead for Professional Services, you own three things end-to-end:

1. The learning path for every new PS hire From day one to first solo customer engagement - structured, sequenced, and certified. Not a folder of decks. An actual program.

2. Feature enablement, every release cycle You sit close to Product. When something ships, your team knows about it before the customer does - with a playbook, not a Slack message.

3. The PS collateral library One version of every template. One source of truth. Always current. You own it, you maintain it, you retire things that are stale.

This isn't a content coordination role. You're building a function from scratch and running it as a continuous program — complete with certifications, gamification, and a feedback loop that actually closes.

What You'll Own?

New Hire Learning Path

  • Design and run a structured onboarding curriculum from "what is Rocketlane" to "ready to own a customer engagement"

  • Build the certification program: assessments, scoring rubrics, pass criteria, refresh cycles

  • Create role-specific tracks for IMs, Solution Architects, and partners, not one-size-fits-all

  • Gamify progression so completion is a milestone, not a checkbox

Feature Enablement (with PM)

  • Embed yourself in the product release cycle - beta reviews, early access, pre-launch prep

  • Translate every significant release into: what changed, what to demo, what to watch out for, what to update in delivery

  • Deliver live sessions and async content so the team is never caught flat-footed on a customer call

  • Feed practitioner feedback back to Product, you're the voice of the field

PS Collateral & Knowledge Base

  • Own the single source of truth for all PS templates: status decks, SteerCo decks, project plans, QBR frameworks, escalation playbooks

  • Establish version control and content hygiene - one template, one owner, one place to find it

  • Audit the library regularly; retire anything that misleads someone in the field

  • Use AI tools to create, repurpose, and update content faster

You're Right for This If...

  • You've spent 7+ years in SaaS delivery - implementations, onboarding, or CS and have personally owned enterprise customer engagements

  • You've built or maintained enablement content before and know the difference between a deck and a learning experience

  • You already use AI tools to do your job faster and you're curious about what's next

  • You'd rather build the playbook yourself than write a brief about why one is needed

  • You get energy from teaching others and from being in the field enough to know what's worth teaching

  • You're comfortable presenting to a room of skeptical senior consultants and a customer SteerCo in the same week

Bonus Points

  • You've enabled or certified an external partner / reseller network

  • You have instructional design or structured curriculum experience

  • You've worked in a high-growth SaaS environment where the product changes faster than the docs

What You Won't Find Here

  • A role where you hand off content for someone else to deliver

  • A team that's figured it all out - you're building the rails, not riding them

  • A manager who needs to tell you what needs fixing

The Stack You'll Work With
