About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of customer success, technical problem-solving, and market intelligence. You’ll own API customer relationships end-to-end — running demos, debugging integrations, writing scripts to unblock customers, and relaying precise model feedback to Sarvam’s research teams. A strong fit for someone early in their career with genuine technical curiosity and excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Own customer relationships end-to-end: run demos, onboarding sessions, and integration walkthroughs; get customers from API key to working product fast; stay with them through production.

  • Build and tinker: write scripts to unblock integrations, build small demo apps that show customers what’s possible, and create reference implementations others can reuse. Handle problems directly rather than escalating them.

  • Be the voice of the customer inside Sarvam: relay model feedback (transcription errors, voice quality gaps, translation failures, LLM output issues) to research and engineering with enough specificity that they can reproduce and prioritise; then close the loop with the customer.

  • Surface market insights: track what customers and prospects are building, map the competitive landscape, spot recurring patterns across accounts, and bring a point of view to GTM and Product — not just a data dump.

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–3 years in a customer-facing role: customer success, solutions, pre-sales, or developer advocacy at a tech company; strong internship experience counts (impact > years).

  • Technically capable: you read API docs fluently, write basic Python or JS scripts, and debug integrations without hand-holding.

  • Excellent communicator: confident on demos, clear in writing, equally effective with a business stakeholder and an engineer.

  • Genuinely curious about AI: you want to understand how the models work, not just what they return, and you can characterise model errors with precision.

  • Organised and proactive: multiple threads in the air, nothing dropped, no prompting needed.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with speech, LLM, or document processing APIs: you know what good output looks like.

  • Experience working with engineering or research teams: you can turn a customer complaint into a reproducible bug report.

  • You’ve built something with an API — a project, a side build, anything.
