The Sarvam AI Reasoning team is building sophisticated reasoning capabilities for India's first sovereign AI platform. We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native infrastructure, deployment automation, and service networking for our AI platform. You'll work closely with our development and reliability teams to build a secure, scalable foundation that supports our sophisticated AI reasoning capabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating an infrastructure that maintains both high performance and cost efficiency while operating across distributed environments.

We seek candidates with strong expertise in infrastructure as code, Kubernetes orchestration, and modern deployment practices who can demonstrate technical excellence in cloud architecture.
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field from a top-tier institution
3-5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm charts
Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and container orchestration
Proficiency in implementing service mesh technologies and zero trust network models
Extensive knowledge of continuous deployment strategies and GitOps workflows
Experience with edge computing and global CDN architectures
Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles
Experience implementing and managing API gateway solutions
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go
Excellent problem-solving abilities and system architecture design skills
Define and implement infrastructure deployments using a combination of Terraform for cloud resources and Helm for Kubernetes application delivery
Implement service mesh topologies and network policies for zero trust network architecture
Own blue/green, canary, and progressive deployment mechanisms for the entire platform
Implement GitOps workflows for declarative infrastructure and application deployments
Design edge computing infrastructure and global CDN integration with geographic routing
Manage container orchestration with secure node configuration and pod security policies
Implement infrastructure-level auto-scaling and resource optimization practices
Own cloud FinOps practices and resource utilization optimization strategies
Implement API gateway and management platforms for service exposure
Collaborate with security teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance requirements
Document infrastructure architecture and operational procedures
Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native best practices and infrastructure automation
