Field Technician

Travel to fishing docks across the United States (approximately 50 percent travel) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Poseidon robotic processing systems
Execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work following engineering procedures and safety standards
Repair electro-mechanical assemblies including motors, actuators, gearboxes, and harnessing
Use GUI diagnostic tools to gather logs and surface findings to engineering
Coordinate dockside logistics including freight, parts, and service providers
Support captains and deck crews through hands-on training and early deployment runs at sea
When not traveling, work on-site (CA) or in Chinook/remote (WA/OR) to build robots, maintain spares, prep tooling, and support reliability testing
1 plus years of experience working with electro-mechanical systems, ideally in field service or industrial equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and industrial machinery
Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate when issues fall outside the plan
Solid troubleshooting instincts and comfort working independently in remote or dynamic environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills with both engineers and vessel operators
Basic familiarity with diagnostics or CLI tools
Crimping, harness building, or electrical troubleshooting
Automotive, marine, or industrial machinery repair
