VP of Sales

  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship building, solution presentations, negotiations, and contract closures

  • Ideate with buyers in retail, food service or other channels

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and cultivating strong relationships with key industry stakeholders

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, providing insights to guide product development and positioning

  • Collaborate with the owners, marketing and production to ensure commercial viability and market fit of new products and features, based on customer feedback and market demand

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging consumer trends in retail and food service adapting strategies accordingly

  • Represent at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing the company's value proposition

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of a proven track record of success in seafood sales with leadership responsibility, growing and scaling a brand, is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and expand market share

  • Strategic mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify market opportunities and develop effective go-to-market strategies

  • Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers

  • The job will require travel when needed to customers and trade shows

As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales, marketing, and business development activities. You will play a pivotal role in driving YoY revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, managing and growing a sales team as well as ensuring the successful commercialization of new products.
