Job Summary: We are looking for a highly enthusiastic Tech Lead - Shopify, who holds a strong Shopify +  experience with additional expertise in Full Stack technologies (React and/or Node.js or any overlapping stack, not PHP). To reiterate, we are looking for a Tech Lead–level (or above) resource who can provide long-term stability and strong technical ownership. This is a permanent position, not a contractual engagement, as we aim to onboard a highly skilled professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores with high scalability and performance

• Implement Shopify Plus–specific features such as Shopify Scripts, Flow, Launchpad, and advanced checkout customizations

• Customize themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while following best practices

• Develop custom Shopify apps (public/private/custom) using Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL)

• Integrate third-party services (ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools, etc.)

• Handle app deployment, versioning, and ongoing maintenance

• Manage and optimise multi-region / multi-currency Shopify stores

• Implement region-specific pricing, taxes, shipping rules, and localisation

• Work with Shopify Markets and international storefront strategies

• Optimise store performance, checkout flow, and conversion rates

• Ensure compliance with security standards and Shopify best practices

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams

• Provide technical guidance on Shopify architecture and scalability

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Solid knowledge of Shopify plus app and good to have experience with Public app.

• Exposure to technologies like Node/Angular/React is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Git or any version control system.

• Ability to interpret requirements correctly and communicate clearly with team members.

• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies, especially AI-assisted development too.
