Role Overview

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. The role focuses on designing, building, and supporting scalable ERP solutions while collaborating closely with functional teams, architects, and delivery stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement extension‑based customizations in Dynamics 365 using X++, adhering to Microsoft best practices.

• Develop and maintain forms, tables, classes, workflows, reports (SSRS), batch jobs, and business logic within D365 F&O.

• Design and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, Data Entities, Custom Services, Dual‑write, and Dataverse connectors.

• Manage data migration and data management activities using Data Management Framework (DMF).

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline execution, automated builds, and deployments using Azure DevOps.

• Support environment management across DEV, UAT, Sandbox, and Production.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom code, integrations, performance, and batch processing.

• Ensure compliance with technical governance, security roles, role‑based access control (RBAC), and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O).

• Deep understanding of D365 technical architecture, including metadata‑driven framework, extension model, and event‑based programming.

• Proficiency in X++, with working knowledge of C#, .NET, and JavaScript for integrations and supporting services.

• Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, builds, releases, and work item tracking.

• Practical exposure to integration patterns, synchronous and asynchronous processing, and error handling.

• Understanding of ERP security, performance optimization, and data consistency concepts.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive delivery mindset.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Application Insights.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce, POS, and retail integrations.

• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Azure certifications.
