Role Overview: 

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Presales) to work closely with sales, clients, and internal teams to understand business needs and create effective solution proposals. This role focuses on gathering requirements, preparing client-facing documents and presentations, supporting presales activities, and helping clients identify the right digital solutions for their business challenges.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with sales leads and account managers to gather, analyze, and document client business and technical requirements for incoming opportunities.

  • Conduct independent research on the client's industry, business model, and technology landscape to add contextual depth to proposals.

  • Own the end-to-end preparation of Proposals, RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work (SoW), Capability Decks, and Effort Estimation documents in collaboration with the Pre-Sales Manager and technical leads

  • Write and structure proposal content that clearly maps client needs to Simform's service offerings — across Cloud, Product Engineering, App Development, Custom Software Development, and Digital Engineering capabilities.

  • Ensure all submitted documents are accurate, well-structured, free of generic content, and reflect measurable value propositions.

  • Coordinate review cycles internally, manage document versions, and maintain submission timelines without compromising quality.

  • Maintain and continuously improve a library of reusable proposal content, case studies, and capability statements mapped to Simform's verticals and service lines.

  • Participate in discovery calls and requirement workshops with prospects, asking the right questions to surface unstated needs and project risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, with strong and demonstrable exposure to pre-sales activities — specifically Proposal Writing, RFP/RFI responses, and SoW preparation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience in IT services, digital engineering, or product engineering company is strongly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of Cloud, Product Engineering, App Development, Custom Software Development, and Digital Engineering— sufficient to write accurately about these without needing to be hand-held by architects.

  • Proven ability to gather and convert ambiguous business and technical requirements into structured, solution-oriented proposal narratives.

  • Excellent written communication skills — proposals must demonstrate precision, coherence, and clarity, not just volume.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across sales, technical, and leadership teams under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Fundamentals or above) or cloud/BA certifications

  • Exposure to key verticals — Fintech, Healthcare, Retail & E-Commerce, or Supply Chain.

  • Familiarity with agile delivery models and co-engineering engagement structures.

  • Experience using proposal tools, content libraries, or CRM-integrated pre-sales workflows.
