Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of office facilities and workplace operations across our IT offices. The role will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, compliant, and employee-friendly work environment while managing vendors, infrastructure, security, transport, housekeeping, cafeteria services, and office maintenance.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in corporate facility management, vendor governance, workplace services, budget management, and employee engagement initiatives within an IT/ITES environment.
Facility Operations Management
Manage day-to-day facility operations across office locations.
Ensure uninterrupted functioning of all building infrastructure, utilities, and workplace services.
Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, electrical systems, DG sets, UPS, plumbing, lighting, and other critical assets.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Workplace Experience & Employee Services
Ensure a clean, safe, and productive workplace environment.
Manage employee seating, workspace allocation, meeting rooms, and office moves.
Drive workplace improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience.
Address employee facility-related concerns and ensure timely resolution.
Vendor & Contract Management
Manage housekeeping, security, transport, cafeteria, pest control, maintenance, and other facility vendors.
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Negotiate contracts, renewals, and cost-effective service agreements.
Conduct regular vendor reviews and audits.
Security & Access Management
Oversee physical security operations and visitor management systems.
Manage access control systems, ID cards, and surveillance systems.
Ensure compliance with organizational security protocols and policies.
Coordinate with security agencies for smooth operations.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and corporate standards.
Manage fire safety systems, emergency response procedures, and evacuation drills.
Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
Coordinate statutory inspections and certifications.
Transport & Cafeteria Management
Manage employee transportation services and vendor coordination.
Ensure smooth cafeteria operations and maintain hygiene standards.
Monitor employee satisfaction and service quality.
Space Planning & Infrastructure Projects
Plan office layouts, expansions, relocations, and workspace optimization initiatives.
Coordinate office renovation and infrastructure projects.
Work closely with business stakeholders to support growth and operational requirements.
Budget & Cost Management
Prepare annual facility budgets and monitor expenses.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality.
Manage purchase requests, facility-related procurement, and asset utilization.
Business Continuity & Emergency Management
Support business continuity planning and workplace readiness.
Ensure critical facility systems are operational and adequately backed up.
Lead response during facility-related emergencies and incidents.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Certification in Facility Management, Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or Project Management will be an advantage.
6–12 years of experience in Facility Management within IT/ITES, Technology, or Corporate Office environments.
Experience managing facilities for offices with 500+ employees preferred.
Proven experience handling multiple vendors and facility budgets.
