Operations Associate
Job type: Full Time · Department: Corporate · Work type: Remote
United States
Socha Capital is a high-growth, multi-family office advisory firm serving entrepreneurs, business owners, and ultra-high-net-worth families. We believe exceptional client experiences are built on exceptional operations. As we continue to scale, we're investing in the people, systems, and processes that power our firm's growth.
We’re hiring an Operations Associate who is hard-working, dependable, and takes real pride in supporting a team well. You'll enjoy both improving how work gets done and ensuring the day-to-day work is completed accurately and consistently.
This is not a traditional administrative role. You’ll work directly with the Operations Manager to support the systems, processes, data, technology, and operational infrastructure that keep the firm running effectively. You'll contribute to meaningful projects while building broad business operations experience and taking on increasing responsibility as you grow in the role.
Prepare and maintain recurring operational reporting, dashboards, Excel-based tools, business metrics, and data across firm systems.
Help build, document, test, and improve business systems, workflows, automations, and standard operating procedures.
Support cross-functional projects by maintaining timelines, tracking action items and dependencies, following up on deliverables, and helping initiatives move from planning through completion.
Execute recurring operational processes accurately, consistently, and on schedule, escalating issues when appropriate.
Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including technology access, equipment, documentation, systems setup, and operational checklists.
Support vendor relationships, software renewals, operational contracts, and technology inventory.
Serve as the first point of contact for routine technology support, coordinating with our managed IT provider on escalated issues.
Leverage technology and AI to reduce manual work, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency.
Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve existing processes, and work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement solutions.
2+ years of experience in operations, business operations, project coordination, business systems, or a related role.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data organization, and analysis.
Experience with CRM and project management systems; Redtail and Asana experience are a plus.
Strong technology aptitude and comfort learning new software and troubleshooting routine software, hardware, access, and user-account issues.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, workflows, or operational processes.
Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional work ethic and reliability. You hold yourself to a high standard, follow through on every commitment, and make the people you support more effective.
Resourceful and comfortable researching unfamiliar problems, asking thoughtful questions, and working toward solutions.
Ability to manage recurring responsibilities alongside project-based work and shifting priorities.
Strong communication skills and judgment about when to work independently, when to ask questions, and when to escalate an issue.
Financial services or RIA experience is a plus but not required.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy creating order from complexity, solving problems, and taking pride in getting the details right. You’re comfortable receiving direction and then figuring out the steps needed to execute. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment and are willing to put in the extra effort when the work demands it. When you encounter something you don’t know, you research it, ask thoughtful questions, and keep moving rather than waiting for someone to tell you every next step.
You also understand that great operations isn't only about building something new. It's about consistently executing the processes that already exist, noticing when something isn't working, and helping make it better.
$85,000 annual salary plus performance-based bonus opportunity.
At Socha Capital, operations isn't simply a support function, it's a competitive advantage. We believe great businesses are built through disciplined execution, continuous improvement, and people who care deeply about doing things the right way. You’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact, work closely with the Operations Manager and leadership, and grow into increasing responsibility as the firm continues to scale. If you're known for your work ethic and take pride in being the person others can count on, we want to hear from you.
