Business Intelligence Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a Senior BI Analyst who pairs strong analytical thinking with AI-enabled workflows. You’ll ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data insights across the organization while using AI tools to accelerate analysis and decision-making.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in SQL, data modelling, and business analytics, and comfortable using AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve speed and quality of work. You understand how APIs, MCP servers, and semantic layers create scalable analytical workflows.

You’ll work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to turn data into action while championing AI-native analytics.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into measurable KPIs and analytical frameworks.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated reporting for timely business visibility.

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations and Leadership teams to define success metrics and measurement plans for new initiatives, feature launches, and campaigns.

  • Run deep-dive analyses on customer behaviour, product adoption, retention, conversion, and performance trends.

  • Develop analytical models and frameworks to evaluate business outcomes, attribution, experimentation, and operational effectiveness.

  1. Data Modelling & Platform Development

  • Design and maintain data marts and curated datasets that enable self-service analytics.

  • Partner with Data Engineering on data quality, governance, and documentation.

  • Ensure consistency and integrity of business definitions, metrics, and reporting standards.

  1. AI-Enabled Analytics

  • Leverage AI-assisted coding and analytics tools to improve productivity and delivery speed.

  • Build AI-enabled workflows integrating data warehouses, APIs, semantic layers, and internal tooling via Skills, MCP servers, notebooks, and agentic workflows.

  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and enable stakeholders to interact with data through AI-powered self-service.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  1. Required Experience

  • Strong SQL and data warehousing proficiency.

  • Experience building dashboards in modern BI tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating data into recommendations.

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across business functions.

  • Solid grounding in data modelling, KPI design, and measurement frameworks.

  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and large-scale datasets.

  • Experience integrating analytics systems via Skills, APIs, MCP servers, or agent harnesses/frameworks.

  1. Preferred Experience

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini) and practical LLM applications in analytics..

  • Programming experience in Python or similar languages for advanced analytics and automation.
