Client Engagement Executive
Job type: Full Time · Department: Client Experience · Work type: Hybrid
Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand
You'll be the person our clients talk to. Through LINE, phone, email and in person, you'll answer questions about how their money is invested, help them decide which portfolio fits their goals, and stay with them through the market moments when investing feels uncomfortable. The single most valuable thing you'll do here is keep good investors invested.
Done well, this role grows the business. Clients who understand what they own invest more, stay longer, and refer people they know. Your success is measured on the assets under management of the clients you look after — but that growth comes from being the person they trust, not from pushing products.
This is not a scripted support role. To do it well you need to genuinely understand how our portfolios are built — not repeat what a document says, but explain it in your own words to someone who has never heard of asset allocation. That's the hardest part of this job and the part we select for.
Client advisory
Handle client enquiries across LINE, phone and email — accurately, promptly, and in language a non-expert follows
Conduct fact-finding conversations to understand a client's circumstances before recommending anything.
Recommend what's genuinely suitable for each client, based on their goals, horizon and risk tolerance. Suitability comes first, always.
Run welcome calls with new clients and proactive outreach to your existing book.
Build long-term relationships with your assigned clients so they stay invested through volatility and grow their portfolios with us.
Bring what you hear back into the business — you'll be the clearest signal we have on what clients actually find confusing.
Know General Investing deeply. It's our core managed portfolio — globally diversified and built to be held for the long term — and you should be able to explain how it works and why we believe in the approach.
Advocate for long-term investing. A large part of this job is talking clients out of decisions they'll regret: selling in a drawdown, chasing a theme, timing an entry.
Client events and networking
Help host our high-net-worth client events — roughly twice a year — from planning through to being on the floor talking to clients on the night.
Represent StashAway at external networking and industry events, and follow up on the relationships that come out of them.
Analysis and reporting
Use client behaviour data to decide who to call and when, rather than working through a list.
Produce the monthly portfolio return report.
Build presentation material for client webinars.
Written Thai of a standard you'd be comfortable putting in front of a client, plus working English for internal collaboration.
1–3 years' experience, at least some of it client-facing.
The ability to read about an unfamiliar investment concept and explain it clearly in your own words.
Investment Consultant licence obtained within 90 days of joining. If you don't already hold one, you'll book your exam in your first week.
Comfortable making outbound calls. Many calls will not lead to anything, and you need to handle that without losing motivation.
Comfortable in a room of clients — you'll be at events and expected to hold a conversation, not stand by the registration desk.
Genuine interest in markets and personal finance is an added advantage.
