About the Role

TechnoMile is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our Engineering team. We're looking for someone who is, first and foremost, a strong software engineer. You'll design and build enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform — bringing the same engineering rigor to Salesforce extensions that you'd bring to any production codebase. Clean code, sound architecture, and maintainability come first.

We believe this role is perfect for someone looking to deepen their engineering craft while working on a widely-adopted enterprise platform. As part of a company that's building AI-enabled products, we're looking for someone who is comfortable using AI tools to enhance their own work and accelerate outcomes. You'll be part of a culture that values experimentation, continuous learning, and finding smarter ways to solve problems.

This role is open to candidates located in Pune, India and is a hybrid role reporting to our Pune office, typically 2-3 days onsite.

About the Team

Our Engineering team builds and extends TechnoMile's product suite across the Salesforce platform. Together, we are responsible for designing and maintaining well-architected, production-grade solutions, partnering closely with consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.

What You'll Work On

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions: Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.

  • Build and extend Flows and declarative tools where appropriate and write code when needed.

  • Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems.

  • Manage deployments through Salesforce CLI and CI/CD pipelines with proper source control practices.

  • Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.

  • Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected solutions.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, drive innovation, and deliver high-quality work across your area of expertise.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on development experience, with significant time on the Salesforce platform, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Apex and JavaScript (ES6+), with a solid grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, unit testing, and disciplined Git branching workflows.

  • Salesforce platform depth: Salesforce development including Apex (including asynchronous Apex), triggers, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce data and security model, plus Lightning Web Components and Aura development for custom UI, Flows, Validation Rules, and other declarative tools, and solution lifecycle management across sandboxes and environments.

  • Integration & DevOps: Experience with Salesforce CLI and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset, or similar), and REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.

  • AI fluency: Hands-on experience using generative AI and automation tools to boost productivity, and sound judgment on when to lean on AI versus human insight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I).

  • Sales Cloud configuration and customization.

  • Experience implementing or extending managed packages (AppExchange / ISV products).

  • Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi).

  • Data migration tooling (Data Loader, Workbench).

  • Experience with Einstein, Data Cloud, or Salesforce AI features.

Our Tech Stack

You'll work with technologies like: Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript (ES6+), Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Copado, or Gearset.

Will You Thrive at TechnoMile

At TechnoMile, we come from many backgrounds, but we're united by our core values and our drive to pursue greater opportunity. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, turning the improbable into possible.

  • Stronger Together: We know it takes people with different backgrounds, distinct experiences, and unique points of view to make our company succeed. We treat one another with trust and respect and work together, knowing we win or lose as a team. We take time to have fun together, share our appreciation for one another, and celebrate achievements.
