The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?

We’re looking for a collaborative, people-first HR professional to be the go-to People Operations Partner for our APAC region. Reporting to the Global HR Manager, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for employees and leaders, balancing compliance, stakeholder management, and day-to-day execution with a strong focus on building an exceptional employee experience. 

This is a hybrid role, with 2–3 days per week based in our Prahran office. As we continue to grow, you’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling our People practices across APAC, while keeping connection, trust, and employee experience front and centre.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with APAC employment-related processes, including onboarding, performance management, promotions, salary reviews, terminations, etc 

  • Be the first point of contact and trusted HR partner for employees across APAC 

  • Ensure compliance with Australian labour laws, and partner with our Employer of Record to maintain compliance across the broader APAC region 

  • Partner with managers and regional leadership to navigate employee relations matters, drive team engagement, and support strong cross-functional collaboration 

  • Drive regional culture and engagement initiatives, including offsites, social activities, engagement surveys, and internal programs that support retention 

  • Collect and analyse employee data and feedback (e.g., engagement, compensation, retention) to generate insights and inform future People initiatives 

  • Develop and maintain clear, engaging internal communications, ensuring employee resources are accurate, accessible, and up to date 

  • Collaborate with the Enablement team to design and deliver onboarding guides, workshops, and training materials 

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support HR compliance and best practices throughout the recruitment process 

  • Provide support on broader People team initiatives and operational needs as required 

Who You Are:

You’re a hands-on, people-first HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and owning the day-to-day delivery of People Operations. You’re comfortable being the first point of contact for employees, confident navigating employee relations and compliance, and motivated by building practical, scalable People processes that support a great employee experience.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in HR, with a strong operational focus across the employee lifecycle, employment law, and compliance, particularly within Australia (broader APAC exposure is a plus)

  • Proven experience acting as a trusted, front-line HR partner to employees and managers, handling day-to-day People matters and employee relations

  • Comfortable working in a highly operational role, balancing multiple priorities and rolling up your sleeves to get things done

  • Strong judgement and empathy, with the ability to balance business needs, compliance, and employee advocacy

  • Highly collaborative and proactive, with experience working across functions, regions, and time zones

  • Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to create and maintain effective internal communications
