The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?
We're looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated IT Manager to join Traild and help scale IT Operations across our rapidly growing global SaaS environment.
Based out of our Prahran office, this role leads IT across our APAC region while partnering closely with IT teams in North America and EMEA to drive global alignment, consistency, and operational excellence. You'll oversee our internal infrastructure, systems, and services — keeping them secure, reliable, and closely aligned with business objectives — while playing a key role in enabling a productive and well-supported hybrid workforce.
As Traild grows, so will this team, and this role is an opportunity to build and shape that function from the ground up, with an immediate direct report in an IT Systems Administrator. This role is primarily in-office but offers some flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve IT strategy, policies, and best practices, aligning initiatives with company and engineering goals while managing budgets, vendors, and technology procurement.
Administer and optimise enterprise platforms across Microsoft stack, cloud infrastructure, and mixed macOS/Windows environments, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Lead the IT service desk using ITSM tooling to manage incidents, requests, and assets — maintaining high SLA standards and a great employee experience.
Implement and maintain endpoint security, identity management, and device compliance through tools including Intune, with a focus on zero-trust principles.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to support audits, evidence collection, and continuous control monitoring across data protection and privacy requirements.
Lead, mentor, and grow the IT team — starting with a direct report in an IT Systems Administrator — with a view to building out the function as the business scales.
Drive process improvements, automation, and the adoption of AI tools to increase IT operational efficiency and support a smarter, faster-moving team.
Who You Are:
We're looking for a hands-on IT leader who thrives in fast-moving, scale-up environments. You bring both the strategic mindset to shape IT direction and the technical depth to get things done. You're someone who's led and developed people, and you're excited by the opportunity to grow a team — not just manage one. If you're energised by building and improving, embracing new technologies like AI, and leaving things better than you found them, you'll fit right in.
7+ years of experience as an IT Manager or senior IT leader, ideally within a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
Strong expertise across Microsoft technologies, networking, cloud systems, and remote/hybrid work environments.
Proven experience managing Windows and macOS endpoints at scale, alongside solid ITSM tool knowledge.
Deep understanding of IT security best practices, compliance frameworks, and modern identity and access management.
Demonstrated experience supporting compliance programs and distributed or hybrid workforces.
Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and exposure to enterprise networking, SSO, and zero-trust architectures.
Proven people leadership experience, including managing or mentoring direct reports with a desire to build and develop a team over time.
Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application in IT operations, automation, or service delivery — and a genuine curiosity to push this further.
Excellent communication, vendor management, and leadership skills with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
