The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?
We are looking for a talented, analytical, and commercially minded Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join Traild’s Finance team, reporting to the VP Finance.
This is a high-impact role focused on building financial clarity and discipline as Traild scales globally. You will lead core planning and forecasting rhythms, partner closely with leaders across the business, and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making.
This role is remote-first within Australia and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys building structure as they go.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously improve Traild’s annual budgeting and reforecast processes
Lead monthly forecasting across revenue, headcount and operating expenses
Build and maintain driver-based financial models that link commercial performance to financial outcomes
Deliver clear reporting on performance versus budget and forecast, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities
Develop dashboards, reporting packs and KPI frameworks to support consistent, data-led decision making
Partner with leaders across Revenue, Product and Operations to support planning and performance management
Provide structured financial analysis to inform pricing, expansion, investment and other strategic initiatives
Strengthen FP&A processes, reporting automation and forecasting accuracy as the business scales
Embed financial discipline and scalable planning rhythms without slowing execution
Who You Are:
You’re a highly analytical and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You combine strong modelling and forecasting skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or high-growth SaaS environments
Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities
Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, payback, etc.)
Excellent stakeholder management skills — able to partner with senior leaders across the business
Highly structured thinker with strong attention to detail
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch
Proactive, ownership-driven, and motivated to drive impact
