The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Product Manager – Financial Infrastructure Group, where you will play a critical role in defining and driving the product strategy for Traild's new Financial Infrastructure group in Tel Aviv.
You will own the roadmap across bank integration, ledger, card issuing, payment guarantee, and real-time rails — from 0→1 discovery through to commercialisation. This is a founding product role:setting the direction for the infrastructure that will define how Traild competes for the next decade.
The ideal candidate will have deep payments domain expertise, proven experience leading 0→1 product initiatives in complex technical environments, and the ability to translate financial infrastructure complexity into precise, actionable product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Own the group roadmap: Set the product direction for the Financial Infrastructure group — own the roadmap across bank integration, ledger, card issuing, payment guarantee, and real-time rails, from concept to commercialisation.
Lead 0→1 discovery: Lead discovery for new financial infrastructure capabilities. Interview customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders to understand exactly where current processes break down and where the opportunity is largest.
Translate domain to product: Work with engineering to define what needs to be built and why. Translate financial workflows, compliance requirements, and payments complexity into precise, actionable product requirements — without losing the nuance.
Domain authority: Serve as the internal authority on payments infrastructure, financial workflows, and compliance. Be the person the engineering team trusts to have the right answer on how a ledger should work, what a payment guarantee means, or how card issuing affects reconciliation.
Drive cross-functional alignment: Align engineering, design, sales, and customer success around a coherent product vision for the group. Ensure new capabilities integrate with Traild's broader AP platform and are commercially ready to ship.
Leverage AI in your workflow: Use modern AI tools to move faster, synthesise research, and improve the quality and speed of product decisions.
Who You Are:
Required qualifications, experience and skills:
7+ years owning and shipping complex technical products in a fast-moving environment — you have taken 0→1 products to market and operated them at scale.
Deep domain expertise in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure — you understand the mechanics of how money moves, not just the surface-level product vocabulary. Experience with payment rails, ledger design, card issuing, or reconciliation is a strong advantage.
Experience leading product direction in a complex, cross-functional environment — whether as a senior IC PM or in a lead capacity. You know how to create alignment without needing a title to do it.
Comfortable with ambiguity — these are new products, the roadmap isn't written yet, and you are energised by 0→1 challenges, not intimidated by them.
Strong analytical and prioritisation skills — you make decisions with data and domain instinct, and you can defend them clearly in a room with engineers, executives, and customers.
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for engineers and complex technical concepts for customers and stakeholders — you operate fluently at both levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working across engineering, design, sales, and a global distributed team.
Strong collaborator with an attitude embracing growth, hands-on execution, adaptability, and the scale-up spirit.
