Traild: Who are we?

Traild is a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS company that streamlines, automates, and protects Accounts Payable.

Just as your bank provides always-on risk protection for your credit card, Traild provides the same level of security to help businesses protect their B2B payments from fraud, errors, and mistakes.

Our specialised Accounts Payable software integrates with leading ERP systems like SYSPRO, Acumatica, MYOB, and IFS to help clients make their AP process more streamlined, automated, and secure.

With a rapidly growing client base across APAC, NA, and EMEA, this is your chance to board the rocket ship at the right time. Together, we’ll help more businesses digitise and scale their operations with automation and security at the core.

The Role: Infrastructure Engineer:

We are looking for a passionate Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of our global infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, networking, and reliability across multiple cloud regions.

You will work alongside product and engineering teams on exciting projects while enabling faster delivery and maintaining high availability in a cloud-native environment.

This is a highly trusted role working in a small infrastructure team of 3 where you will work on both Cloud Infrastructure (GCP) and Developer Experience projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Build internal tools that make development faster, easier, and more reliable for engineers across the company.

  • Improve our observability stack including logging, metrics, and alerting so teams can see issues and act quickly.

  • Support and enhance our CI/CD pipelines to keep delivery smooth and consistent.

Improve local development workflows and keep environments aligned with production.

  • Work with Terraform and GCP to build and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure.

  • Help run Cloud Run and Kubernetes in production and contribute to automation that makes operations simpler and safer.

  • Work with teams on microservices, event driven systems, and core platform improvements.

Support performance, reliability, and cost efficiency initiatives across the platform.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with modern CI and CD tooling like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.

  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and cloud native environments, ideally on GCP.

  • Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.

  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or another language used for automation and tooling.

  • Some experience with observability tools such as Datadog or New Relic.

  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills across systems and services.

  • A collaborative mindset and an interest in helping other engineers ship faster with confidence.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with internal platform tooling or developer portals.

  • Background in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE.

  • Understanding of secure software supply chains.

  • Experience with multi tenant SaaS systems.

  • Exposure to ERP or financial system integrations.

  • Candidates in Melbourne preferred for in person collaboration.

Why Traild?

  • Flexibility: A range of remote, hybrid, and flexible working options.

  • Global reach: Be part of a growing team across APAC, NA, and EMEA.

  • Culture: Our team loves working here—we scored an 85 on our recent 2025 eNPS survey.

  • Impact: Your work will directly protect businesses from payment fraud and errors, while enabling them to scale with confidence.

Please note: Final applicants will be asked to consent to a police/criminal background check, as permitted by law in your jurisdiction.
