This role sits at the intersection of strategy, go-to-market design, and operations. We’re growing extremely fast but right now the team is still lean, the problems are genuinely hard, and we’re scaling - locally and globally. You’ll have real impact on the revenue teams of a sales-led B2B business. This is a great moment to join us. 

Reporting to the VP Revenue Operations, you’ll own our GTM systems, generate actionable insights, and align Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success around shared goals and metrics. 

The overall RevOps function reports directly into the Founder and CEO and operates as a strategic arm - advising on new market opportunities, GTM strategy, and how we scale commercially. You’ll have direct exposure to the highest-leverage decisions in the business. 

The preferred location(s) for this role are Melbourne or Sydney. 

What you’ll do:

  • Own the GTM engine end-to-end Take full ownership of how revenue runs at Traild: pipelines, lead routing, lifecycle stages, scoring, and automation. You’ll design the systems that scale a sales-led business and make sure the engine performs against forecast. 

  • Sit at the strategy table Partner with the Founder/CEO and VP Revenue Operations on the highest-leverage commercial decisions — market entry, segmentation, pricing, GTM motions. Bring structured analysis and clear recommendations, not just data. 

  • Be the source of truth on the numbers Build the dashboards, forecasts, and reporting that give leadership real visibility into pipeline, ARR, churn, expansion, and partner performance. When someone asks “what’s actually happening in the business?” — you’re the one who knows. 

  • Drive GTM execution end-to-end You are working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product to coordinate product launches, campaigns, and experiments. Keep teams unblocked with clear next steps, escalate decisions early, and make sure cross-functional work actually ships. The messy work isn’t someone else’s problem, it’s yours. 

  • Shape the tech stack strategically Evaluate, select, and rationalise the tools that power revenue (billing, customer portals, marketing). Think about where the stack needs to be at 3x and 10x revenue, not just today. 

  • Champion AI as a force multiplier Use Claude and other AI tooling to compress research, analysis, and operational workflows. Find where AI can scale the business and bake it into how the team operates. 

  • Ground decisions in evidence Use clear written thinking, AI and data to answer questions. You don't wait for a data team to pull a report - you ask your own questions and bring evidence to the table. Cut scope to protect timelines without sacrificing outcomes. Phase work to ship the smallest thing that proves the bet. 

  • Roll up your sleeves At Traild’s stage, nothing is beneath you. You’ll clean up CRM data, fix a broken handoff, jump on a sales call to understand pipeline, or build a model if that’s what moves the needle. The willingness to do the non-glamorous work is non-negotiable.

You’re analytical, commercially minded, and driven to make an impact in a fast-moving environment. You combine structured thinking with curiosity, ownership, and a bias for action.

Experience & background

  • 3+ years in a highly analytical role (B2B SaaS, consulting, or high-growth environments preferred)

  • Experience using Claude or other LLMs to automate workflows, improve decision-making, and drive operational efficiency

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, with readiness to step into leadership as the team scales

  • Strong project management skills, with experience running parallel workstreams end-to-end

  • Comfortable working across functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product) and navigating trade-offs

  • Proactive and entrepreneurial — you take ownership, spot opportunities, and drive outcomes without close direction
