Trainual is hiring an AI Automation Manager to design, build, own, and optimize the systems that power our revenue engine. This is a high-ownership, deeply technical role for someone who thinks in workflows, lives at the intersection of AI and GTM, and gets genuinely excited about turning scrappy automations into scalable infrastructure.
You'll architect and continuously improve AI-powered systems that drive how we prospect, personalize, and convert — connecting signals across marketing, sales, and product into intelligent workflows that help our whole team move faster.

And you don’t just build them — you’re accountable for how they perform and improve over time.
You're an automation-obsessed builder who loves stitching together systems that make revenue teams more effective — and then making those systems better.
You experiment with new AI tools weekly. You build prototypes fast, turn scrappy automations into production-grade workflows, and continuously improve them based on performance and outcomes.
You think in data flows and growth loops, not just campaigns or tactics.
You've likely worked in growth, marketing ops, revenue ops, or sales ops at a high-growth SaaS company — and you know how GTM teams actually operate under the hood. You're equally comfortable talking strategy with leadership, enabling operators on the ground, and building the technical infrastructure that makes both possible.

Design, build, and own the performance of AI-powered workflows that support the full revenue motion — from lead generation and enrichment to outreach, qualification, and pipeline acceleration. You'll architect scalable systems that integrate customer data, behavioral signals, and AI models to improve targeting, personalization, and engagement across the funnel. You’ll continuously monitor, refine, and optimize these systems to improve conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue outcomes.
Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual work and increase GTM efficiency. You'll run rapid experiments, measure their impact, and double down on what drives results with AI-driven prospecting, messaging, and routing workflows — and translate what works into repeatable, scalable systems.
Partner closely with sales, marketing, and revenue operations to identify where automation creates real leverage. You'll build systems that help both individual contributors and leadership move faster — from automating prospect research to generating personalized outreach at scale.
You’ll work through cross-functional dependencies to ensure systems actually deliver results — not just get adopted.
Connect data across our marketing, product, and sales systems to surface actionable signals that power our GTM strategy. You'll use APIs, enrichment tools, and workflow automation platforms to make sure the right insights reach the right teams at the right time.
You’ll ensure these signals are not just surfaced, but actively used to improve GTM performance.
You are accountable for the outcomes of the systems you build — not just their creation.
This means:
Monitoring performance and continuously improving results
Iterating based on real data, not assumptions
Working through cross-functional dependencies to drive impact
Delivering measurable improvements to pipeline and revenue
This is a build, refine, and optimize role — not a “build and hand off” role.
AI & Automation Tools You've built real workflows — not just played with demos — using tools like:
Clay
OpenAI / Claude
Zapier, Make, or n8n
AI workflow orchestration platforms
AI-powered prospecting and research pipelines
Growth & Revenue Tech Stack You're fluent in modern GTM tooling, including:
HubSpot
Sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Apollo, etc.)
Data enrichment platforms
Website personalization tools
Scheduling and routing tools (Chili Piper, RevenueHero, etc.)
Analytics platforms (GA4 or similar)
Technical Skills You don't need to be a full-time engineer — but you know how to build and debug real systems. That includes:
APIs and webhooks
Light programming in Python or JavaScript
Data workflows and enrichment pipelines
AI prompt design and workflow orchestration
GTM Experience You understand how modern SaaS growth engines operate and have hands-on experience supporting sales or marketing teams with automation, data, and workflow optimization.
Experience owning and optimizing systems tied to pipeline or revenue performance (not just building them)
Bonus points if you've worked in a PLG or high-velocity SaaS environment
This role sits within the Marketing team and reports to our VP of Marketing, Jami Hartmann. You'll work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Partnerships - building systems that improve speed, efficiency, and revenue performance across the entire GTM motion.

This role offers a base salary of $130,000 - $180,000. Role level and final compensation will be determined based on experience and hiring project relevant to this role and industry. It also includes stock options, benefits, and all of our brag-worthy culture perks.
