As a Lead Software Engineer, you will build and scale Multiplier’s core global platforms powering HRIS, Time & Attendance, Spend Management, Onboarding and Off-boarding, Salary Revisions, employee benefits such as Insurance, IT Assets, and Background Verification, along with our Contractors and Pre-sales & Implementation products, across web and mobile experiences. You will contribute to strategic pillars spanning Company and Employee Experience, working closely with cross-functional partners to translate revenue goals, compliance requirements, and customer needs into robust, configurable systems. The role emphasizes delivering highly reliable, scalable platforms while maintaining strong engineering velocity, system health, and clear ownership in a fast-growing global environment.

This is a high-impact role that works closely with product, compliance, and operations teams to solve some of the most challenging engineering problems. What will I be doing?

• Leading parts of the product development from inception to launch, and own large parts of the product and its features.

• Working closely with our product and design teams to build products with the goal of delighting and increasing the success of our customers, in a very iterative fashion.

• Architecting, building, testing, and releasing features with the highest quality.

• Automating everything that an engineer should not work on.

What do I need?

• 8+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role with 1 to 2 years’ experience leading a team. Someone from a SaaS product background is preferred. You can demonstrate significant impact that your work has had on the product and/or the team.

• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (Such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.) but it doesn’t need to be a language that we use here! Great people are effective and learn what we use quickly (or introduce us to better ways of working)

• Good understanding of web fundamentals (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and exposure to one or more Front End stacks (such as React, VueJS, Svelte, Angular etc)

• Experience in working with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud and the likes. Good to have: experience in scalable distributed systems.

• Willingness to quickly learn and use new technologies.

• Extremely data-driven.

• Work with and solve problems of very complex nature and enjoy doing it
