We are looking for Benefits Operations Specialists to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits across multiple countries. This role focuses on accurate execution, timely resolution of benefits queries, and close coordination with Payroll, HR, and external benefits vendors.
As a Benefits Ops Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring employees receive the right benefits on time, while maintaining compliance and a high-quality employee experience.
Execute end-to-end benefits operations including onboarding, enrollments, changes, renewals, and offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee benefits records across HR and benefits systems.
Support annual renewals and open enrollment cycles.
Respond to benefits-related queries from employees, customers, and internal teams.
Explain benefits coverage, eligibility, and processes in a clear and timely manner.
Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior ops or benefits leadership.
Coordinate with Payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, and reporting.
Work closely with insurance carriers, brokers, and TPAs to resolve operational issues.
Track vendor turnaround times and follow up on pending actions.
Ensure benefits administration aligns with local statutory requirements and company policies.
Maintain SOPs, checklists, and audit-ready documentation.
Support audits and data requests when required.
Identify recurring operational issues and suggest process improvements.
Track basic operational metrics such as ticket volumes, resolution time, and error rates.
Contribute to knowledge bases and internal documentation.
2–5+ years of experience in Benefits Operations, HR Operations, or a related role.
Hands-on experience with employee benefits administration (health insurance, statutory benefits, etc.).
Exposure to multi-country or regional benefits operations is a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
Good communication skills with the ability to explain benefits clearly.
Comfort working with HR systems, ticketing tools, and spreadsheets.
Organized, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
Accurate and timely benefits processing.
Minimal errors and rework in payroll and benefits execution.
