Job Overview

We are looking for Benefits Operations Specialists to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits across multiple countries. This role focuses on accurate execution, timely resolution of benefits queries, and close coordination with Payroll, HR, and external benefits vendors.

As a Benefits Ops Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring employees receive the right benefits on time, while maintaining compliance and a high-quality employee experience.


What You’ll Do

Benefits Administration

  • Execute end-to-end benefits operations including onboarding, enrollments, changes, renewals, and offboarding.

  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records across HR and benefits systems.

  • Support annual renewals and open enrollment cycles.

Employee & Customer Support

  • Respond to benefits-related queries from employees, customers, and internal teams.

  • Explain benefits coverage, eligibility, and processes in a clear and timely manner.

  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior ops or benefits leadership.

Payroll & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with Payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, and reporting.

  • Work closely with insurance carriers, brokers, and TPAs to resolve operational issues.

  • Track vendor turnaround times and follow up on pending actions.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure benefits administration aligns with local statutory requirements and company policies.

  • Maintain SOPs, checklists, and audit-ready documentation.

  • Support audits and data requests when required.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify recurring operational issues and suggest process improvements.

  • Track basic operational metrics such as ticket volumes, resolution time, and error rates.

  • Contribute to knowledge bases and internal documentation.


What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5+ years of experience in Benefits Operations, HR Operations, or a related role.

  • Hands-on experience with employee benefits administration (health insurance, statutory benefits, etc.).

  • Exposure to multi-country or regional benefits operations is a strong plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain benefits clearly.

  • Comfort working with HR systems, ticketing tools, and spreadsheets.

  • Organized, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
