Multiplier is seeking an experienced Entity Compliance Specialist to join our team for the position of Entity Specialist- Compliance. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all entities within the organization are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

In this role, you will be working closely with various teams to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. You will also be required to provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Entity Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all entities within the organization are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. This includes but not limited to, Companies Act, Securities Act, and Employment Act.

  • You will provide expert advice to stakeholders on compliance matters, including but not limited to, corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws. This will involve analyzing complex legal and regulatory requirements and providing guidance on how to comply.

  • You will conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks, and recommend corrective actions as needed. This will involve analyzing data and identifying areas where the organization may be non-compliant.

  • You will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This will involve working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.

  • You will provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters, including but not limited to, corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws. This will involve developing training programs and delivering training sessions to employees.

  • You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. This will involve working closely with teams such as HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure that activities are compliant.

  • You will identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This will involve analyzing processes and identifying areas where improvements can be made.

  • You will build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations. This will involve attending meetings and conferences, and staying informed on regulatory changes.

  • You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement corrective actions as needed. This will involve developing and implementing plans to ensure compliance, and leading teams to implement those plans.

  • You will develop and implement training programs to enhance compliance knowledge and skills among employees. This will involve developing training programs and delivering training sessions to employees.

  • You will conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This will involve analyzing risks and developing plans to mitigate those risks.

Qualifications

  • Company Secretary with 2-4 years of experience

  • Proven experience in corporate secretarial compliances, HR, and employment laws

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, Companies Act, Securities Act, and Employment Act

  • Ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on compliance matters

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate risks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

  • Good understanding of entity structuring, including holding companies, subsidiaries, and joint ventures
