Own and drive product development – Lead the end-to-end execution of a mission-critical technology product at Multiplier, from inception to launch and beyond. You will shape and implement cutting-edge fintech solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.
Architect, build, and scale high-performance systems – Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure fintech platforms that handle complex financial transactions and regulatory requirements.
Lead a high-performing engineering team – Mentor, guide, and empower engineers to build innovative products while maintaining engineering excellence. Set high standards for coding, architecture, and software quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with product, design, and business teams to define technical strategy, prioritize roadmap features, and deliver impactful solutions that improve customer experiences.
Ensure security, compliance, and scalability – Given the fintech domain, security and compliance will be paramount. You'll enforce industry best practices for data protection, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Actively contribute to code reviews and technical discussions – Stay hands-on when needed, reviewing and contributing to critical components to ensure high engineering standards.
Hire and build a world-class team – Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent globally, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years leading engineering teams and delivering scalable fintech or financial SaaS products.
Proven track record in fintech – Experience working on financial platforms, payment processing, digital banking, risk management, or regulatory tech.
Deep expertise in backend technologies – Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and experience building distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Frontend experience – Strong understanding of web fundamentals (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and experience with frontend frameworks (React, VueJS, Angular, etc.) is a plus.
Cloud-native development – Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud providers, along with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
Security-first mindset – Deep understanding of fintech security standards, encryption, authentication, fraud detection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC2).
Data-driven decision-making – Strong analytical skills and experience using data to optimize engineering efficiency, product performance, and customer experience.
Agile leadership – Experience implementing Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices to deliver software efficiently.
Proven hiring & leadership skills – Strong ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, driving both individual and team success.
