Manager - Customer Marketing

We're looking for a Manager of Customer Marketing to own the end-to-end customer lifecycle journey at Multiplier. You'll design and execute strategies that drive engagement, retention, expansion, and long-term customer value. This role is both strategic and hands-on -  building programs that maximize impact across every customer journey stage.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, or retention marketing with proven success at scale

  • Expertise building multi-channel lifecycle programs (email, in-app, push, webinars, communities)

  • Strong analytical skills using data to inform strategy and measure performance

  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Braze) and CRM systems

  • B2B SaaS experience, preferably in HR tech or payroll

  • Entrepreneurial mindset balancing creative vision with operational execution

  • Exceptional communication skills and customer-obsessed approach

Key Responsibilities

Lifecycle Strategy

  • Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing from onboarding through retention, expansion, and advocacy

  • Design and optimize multi-channel programs that drive measurable engagement and growth

  • Champion automation, personalization, and data-driven decision-making

Growth & Retention

  • Build retention strategies that minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value

  • Develop expansion and upsell programs that convert opportunities into revenue

  • Create advocacy programs leveraging testimonials, case studies, and community engagement

Analytics & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks to track customer health and program performance

  • Ensure continuous testing, measurement, and iteration of all initiatives

  • Use insights to refine segmentation and targeting strategies

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Data teams to deliver personalized experiences

  • Collaborate on segmentation models, health scoring, and customer communications

  • Align with Product Marketing on messaging across the customer journey
