Founding GTM Engineer
Job type: Full Time · Department: GTM · Work type: On-Site
San Francisco, California, United States
Location: San Francisco (in-person, in-office, full-time ONLY)
Compensation: $250K–$350K total annual compensation
Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack - an AI-powered content engine that turns executive thought leadership into a pipeline at scale.
We help the fastest-growing B2B companies go to market through executive-led content that drives revenue, not vanity metrics. Virio is not a content agency. We're backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google. We’ve built a repeatable system for turning founder-led content into meetings, pipeline, and brand power.
We are building GTM infrastructure that behaves like a high-output operator, combining strategy, execution, and systems thinking. Having added $1M in ARR within the last 30 days, our recruiting team is moving quickly to hire the talent we need to continue our momentum.
We are now looking for a Founding GTM Engineer to design and run Virio’s outbound and expansion infrastructure.
Build and operate Virio’s outbound GTM engine end to end
Own Clay-based workflows for lead sourcing, enrichment, scoring, and routing
Design ICP segmentation and account lists across vertical SaaS markets
Create and maintain multi-channel outbound systems across email and LinkedIn
Partner closely with Content, Sales, and Customer Success to convert demand into pipeline
Rapidly test, iterate, and scale outbound campaigns based on performance
Maintain clean GTM data, dashboards, and attribution
Document systems and workflows so they scale beyond you
Continuously improve speed, quality, and conversion across the GTM stack
Agency founder or operator experience – Founded or operated a lead generation, outbound, or Clay-driven agency
Deep Clay expertise – Demonstrated, hands-on mastery of Clay as a core outbound and growth system
B2B SaaS GTM & ICP fluency – Strong understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market motions and ICP design
Technical systems orientation – Highly technical with a systems-first approach to building scalable workflows
Outcome ownership – Comfortable owning metrics and being evaluated directly on results
Rapid experimentation mindset – Moves quickly, tests aggressively, and eliminates what does not work
High agency & builder mindset – Proactively builds without waiting for detailed requirements
Outcome-driven accountability – Comfortable being held accountable for measurable outcomes
Unstructured environment comfort – Effective operating in fast-moving, lightly structured environments
Analytical execution bias – Pragmatic, data-informed, and biased toward action
Low ego & leverage focus – Takes full ownership while optimizing for leverage and impact
Competitive total compensation aligned to impact and ownership
Meaningful equity upside as part of the founding team, core to the operating philosophy for Virio
100 percent paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) plan
Monthly wellness and meals stipend ($1k)
Relocation support for San Francisco
Company-wide annual off-sites
Direct access to founders and leadership
High ownership, high trust, and fast career progression alongside world-class client partners
In-person culture with deep collaboration and shared standards
This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. We do not offer hybrid or remote positions. With best-in-class compensation, Virio operates on a 996–7 cadence and expects high ownership and high output across the team.
