About Job

We seek an experienced Workshop Coordinator to facilitate efficient communication and coordination between our garage and us to drive the end to end repair journey of an accidental vehcile. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts, placement of parts order and ensuring seamless repair processes.

Skills & Qualification

  • 2+ years of experience in bodyshop, survey related work, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • Understanding of automotive repair processes and insurance procedures.

  • Should have coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office and excel.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include placing spare part orders with various vendors on behalf of the workshop.

  • When placing orders, it is crucial to verify the estimated time of arrival of parts with the vendor and assess whether the timeline aligns with our defined schedule. If the timeline exceeds our defined timeframe, immediate action must be taken to source the part from alternative vendors to ensure timely delivery.

  • Source and procure parts from authorized suppliers and dealers to guarantee adherence to quality standards and warranty requirements.

  • Monitor the arrival of ordered parts at the workshop according to the ETA. In the event of delays, promptly follow up with the vendor and explore alternative options for sourcing the part.

  • Maintain a detailed record of the repair progress of vehicles and promptly address any discrepancies observed.

  • Provide regular updates on the status of vehicles undergoing repairs to customers on a daily basis.

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with garage staff to prioritize repairs, reduce downtime, and streamline workflow.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of parts ordered, receipts, and inventory.

  • Negotiate lead times and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
